Happy Star Wars Day everyone!!!!

  1. That is the only film novelization I’ve never read. Not intentionally just…I don’t know, life got in the way I guess? I’ve been meaning to check it out but you’re really piqued my interest! I am going to move reading that right to the top of my Star Wars reading list. That sounds incredible!

  2. That’s one of the things I love most about Star Wars – all the weird alien races! Ithorians are just iconic. I really enjoyed the Kenobi book too, although my favourite novelisation of Kenobi is in “Revenge of the Sith” by Matthew Stover. The way he describes the force flowing through the Jedi is like a religious experience. It’s so awesome!

  3. I LOVE ALL OF THIS. These are amazing!! The Ithorians have always had a special place in my heart since, as a kid, they were one of the first species in Star Wars to really captivate me. The Ithorian in Mos Eisley will always be burned into my memory. And Obi-Wan! Yes! I love him so much. While it’s in the EU and not part of the new Disney Canon, John Jackson Miller’s ‘Kenobi’ novel is one of my all-time favorite Star Wars books. It’s about Obi-Wan settling into life on Tatooine and trying to put his warrior ways behind him to look over Luke in obscurity. It’s so good.
